Hot-and-Hunky Sausage and Peppers with Grimaldi's Arrabiata Sauce

Turn up the heat with Hot-and-Hunky Sausage and Peppers with Grimaldi's Arrabbiata Sauce. Juicy sausage links are seared to perfection, then tossed with sautéed onions and colorful bell peppers in a bold, Grimaldi's Arrabbiata sauce. This one-pan dish brings together robust flavors, all served family-style straight from the skillet. Pair it with crusty bread for an easy-to-make, crowd-pleasing meal that's perfect for casual get-togethers or a hearty weeknight dinner. Enjoy as is or make irresistible sandwiches packed with savory goodness!

Ingredients
  • Italian mild sausage links (2 per person)
  • 2 Yellow bell peppers
  • 2 Red bell peppers
  • 2 Green bell pepper
  • 1 yellow onion
  • 2 Tbsp extra virgin olive oil
  • 1 jar of Grimaldi's Arrabbiata Sauce
  • Crusty loaf of bread. (Sourdough, Italian, etc.)

Directions
  • Wash and dry peppers and onion. Slice (julienne) the vegetables on a cutting board and set aside.
  • Heat up a cast iron skillet. Once skillet is hot place sausage links in it and start cooking. 
  • Cook for about 3-4 min per side allowing sausage to get some color and cook through. Once fully cooked set aside.
  • In the same skillet add olive oil and allow to heat up. Once hot add all veggies, cook until translucent and set aside.
  • In the same skillet add 1 jar of Grimaldi's Arrabbiata Sauce and heat up. Once hot add sausage and veggies and allow flavors to marry.
  • Serve in the same skillet family style and allow people to make sandwiches or enjoy as is with the bread.
